It feels great to say it and it feels even better knowing we will be out of this city in a little over 3 months.
We've moved a lot. 8 times in 8 years to be exact. It isn't something I love doing and I'm really looking forward to staying where we will be for a minimum of 3 years...unless we win the lottery and buy a house much earlier than planned.
With a move comes the possibility, or should I say opportunity, to purge and update. My main focus is always the kitchen and living room but for this new place (fingers crossed she's a good one!) I really want to focus on the office/spare room/music room/personal yoga studio.
Obviously the second bedroom for us is always a multi-purpose room and with a mish-mash of old hand me down furniture, it's always hard to blend personal taste with the needs we have. Needless to say, what we currently have isn't cutting the proverbial mustard.
I was inspired by an old friend's new blog, White Blossom, (and reminded why I asked for her opinion on which fabulous neighbourhoods I should look into moving) which gave me some inspiration to start the hunt early for some new furniture.
I've been looking for great, functional office spaces today and found my favourite one by far on the Pottery Barn website. I think I'm in love and totally finding myself decorating the apartment I don't yet have!
