As a vegetarian I find it really difficult to travel last minute, especially with meat eaters. The only vegetables for consumption were asparagus and corn, which were gobbled up for Saturday night's dinner but we were there for 2 days which is bad news for this chick. I ate too many gross (at the time tasty) foods and felt like garbage which was not the way I wanted to feel 2 weeks before my first half marathon.
On the drive back, I thought up project Vegas bikini.
My fabulous sister is getting married in June and wants to have her bachelorrette in Vegas. I haven't worn a bikini in 10 years. I have 5-6 months to change that. The bikini to squeeze into was purchased 2 years ago and I am determined to fit, not squeeze into it. I refuse to head to Vegas and not bikini it up by the pool which means a serious farewell to my most recent diet of Doritos and Tim Horton's (or anything else fast or fried).
I'm thinking P90X, regular hot yoga and some serious cardio will be my new best friends. I mean business about project Vegas bikini and am willing to workout twice a day to make it happen.
As things get seriously busy with me (signed up for 2 classes, hoping for 2 new jobs), scheduling and being really organized will be key. I'm going to rely heavily on iCal, meal planning and stocking the fridge with healthy treats. I do however, refuse to be all work and no play and have decided to have Friday nights be my moment of the week to indulge.

Oh good luck on P90X. Ryan attempted it but never made it past a few weeks. I will definitely use the ab video after giving birth.
