We took a little roadie to visit some friends on the east coast and it was worth the 14 hour drive!!!!! The trip in hindsight felt too short and we've decided to go for 2 weeks next year instead of 5 day.
These are the things I learned on my trip:
1. I love the ocean (the look, the smell, the everything)
2. Cupcakes are my friend
3. Vacations are important
4. Traveling, no matter where, is important
5. The East Coast looks really good on my little family
and the most important thing I learned is that everything is better with the Ritchies!
Every morning while in Halifax, I would go running and every morning I would see something different I fell in love with. I still can't believe we didn't just call everyone we knew to tell them to take care of our stuff back home because we weren't coming back!

I wish I could say I was happy to be back but who really says that when they get home from a great time away?
