I used to hate taking the stairs. I never liked how they shoved the fact that I was out of shape in my face. Even though I walked over an hour everyday (and by no means is that a major accomplishment), I just couldn't do stairs.
Immediately after I sprained my ankle, I went home. That involved going up the stairs. I was in so much pain, I couldn't even do that. I had to crawl up those stairs and I cried the whole way up. It was a long healing process. Not being able to walk to work, or even up the one flight of stairs I had to go home was devastating. I swore when I got better I would do nothing but stairs.
For the past couple of months, that's all I've done. I'm thankful to be able to walk, jog and even run with minimal to no pain and I am thankful for those stairs!!!!!
I'm also thankful to Starbucks and their Pumpkin Spice Latte :)
