That's my jam!!

I've always had big love for music. When I got my first job as a naive 15 year old, I knew exactly what I wanted my first big purchase to be... an expensive stereo (it was cool at the time!) and I remember spending hours crafting mixed tapes.

Two of my favourite movies showcasing the always adored 'mixed tape' are High Fidelity and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.

The movies I loved always had great soundtracks that were like their own mini mixes and some of my favourite bands were discovered that way!

I'm always interested in what other people are into. I find that someones musical interest really gives you an insight into who they are...and it's a great way to discover artists you might not have heard about.

I'm hoping to start a Mixed Tape series on this blog. I hope to have weekly playlists from bloggers I find inspiring, as well as playlists from friends and family.
